Call me crazy for this title. It's a very cheerful expression that runs in my family. Today is a cheerful day because it marks the third birthday of my little blog!
Happy birthday to Chester's Drawers!
I hope you don't mind a short recap.
There have been a few changes recently. First and foremost was the name change which has cost us pageviews but luckily no readers. Yay! Losing you was by far my greatest fear!! I'm so thankful for every single one of you, my 132 readers! You mean a lot to me and I love interacting with you!!
Also the focus has shifted to nail polish entirely. I have done a lot more stamping manis and also tried my hand at nail art. I have participated in 2 big Nail Challenge Collaboration challenges (Fall Into Autumn and Let It Snow) and in a few Adventures in Stamping challenges.
I have also done a couple reviews, not too many but that's something that I want to work on. I already have a few planned out.
My goals for the next blogging year is to get better at stamping and doing so regularly, to keep up with delivering swatches for the polishes in my stash, and to interact with you more.
So, after all this talking I want to show you my celebratory mani which caused today's post title. Inspiration came from Holy Manicures. I hope you enjoy it :)
I used Essie Mademoiselle as my base color. With a nail art brush I outlined the ballons and then filled in the colors with their respective polish brushes. For the ballons I used Kiko 356 Melone, Essie She's Pampered, Essie Navigate Her and OPI Done Out In Deco. The string is China Glaze Concrete Catwalk.
The thumb was stamped using essence black stamping polish and Gals GA39.
Chester :)
