New Year, new hauls! Here's what I got in the first month of the year.
I was on a mini shopping spree on ebay. Everything bought for less than retail :)
Another mini shopping spree at Kiko. I'm glad I could still snatch up 400 Steel Grey from the Lavish Oriental collection but I'm also sad that I didn't get 399 Silk Taupe. It's not beneficial that there are only a few Kiko stores here and I don't have a car.
While I was on the hunt for the Vintage District LE nail art decoration kits and the new stamping plates I couldn't resist the purple glitter polish from the Hugs & Kisses LE.
Three beauties I got when a england had their 2 year anniversary sale.
I had been lusting after the matrjoshka images for quite a while and finally bit the bullet. The cheburashka image is by far the cutest! (Click here if you're wondering what animal that is!) Now all I need is another plate with Crocodile Gena, Saint Basil's cathedral, a dacha, a samovar, Cyrillic letters and Baba Yaga, and onion domes and "Kokoschniks". LOL I better stop now.
You could already see the flower image in action here.
Nailways stamping plates
Another set of stamping plates that has grabbed my interest. I have been on the lookout for spring-type motives and the Spring Time stamping plates feature plenty of them. While I was already on the page I grabbed the Snowwhite plates as well. Shipping from the Netherlands was fast and reasonably priced, the plates arrived well-packaged and in perfect condition. I can't wait to try them.
In hindsight, my low-buy with a limit of 10 polishes didn't go too well but wasn't terribly bad either with a total of 13. However, I totally didn't plan to buy so many stamping plates! I like them a lot and I'm glad I bought them but 11 new ones are more than "just a few". In the end this means polish low-buy of 7 and no-buy for stamping plates for next month. Let's see how that goes.
What did you buy last month? If you want to see swatches of anything, let me know!
